Patent infringement at bauma 2019: SCHWING-Stetter obtains injunction against competitor

SCHWING-Stetter has prohibited a competitor from continuing to exhibit the technology from the patent in its products at the current bauma 2019 due to patent infringement. The prohibition order, which was handed over by a bailiff on Friday afternoon for out-of-court settlement of the dispute, included a request to remove the relevant vehicle component and all vehicles in which it was installed from the exhibition stand by Friday evening. In addition, it was ordered not to advertise the product in this form anywhere in Germany or to sell it to third parties with immediate effect. The affected competitor, a truck-mixer manufacturer from other European countries, has not complied with the order within the set time frame. SCHWING-Stetter is currently investigating the matter by way of legal recourse.
