Construction company has relied on truck-mounted concrete pumps from SCHWING for more than 50 years

Decades of business relationships are something special in today's fast paced world. H. Huetter Bauunternehmung GmbH & Co. KG and SCHWING GmbH can look back on a particularly long partnership. In 1966, and thus more than 50 years ago, the first SCHWING truck-mounted concrete pump – an ABP 30 on a Unimog chassis – was handed over to the construction company from Dorsten/Germany at a price of just under 90,000 Deutsche Mark. Since then, the family business has remained faithful to the pump manufacturer from Herne/Germany. For concrete production, this first truck-mounted concrete pump (still without a boom) carried delivery pipes with a diameter of DN 80. Arriving at the construction site, the pipeline then had to be laid by hand to the place of pouring. The next truck-mounted concrete pump from SCHWING already had a foldable placing boom, which considerably shortened the set-up time of the machine and further accelerated the concrete pouring. Here, too, Heinrich Huetter pioneered the use of the new technology and in 1969 acquired his first truck-mounted concrete pump, a TCP 50 from SCHWING, with a foldable placing boom on a Magirus Deutz chassis.

Today, the fleet of H. Huetter Bauwerk GmbH & Co. KG comprises four truck-mounted concrete pumps – all from SCHWING – including two space-saving S 24 X, one extremely flexible S 38 SX Reptor and one large-boom pump S 43 SX. If the use of other truck-mounted concrete pumps is required, Huetter can offer them for hire, thanks to the cooperation with other pumping service providers from 20 to over 60 meters. On the occasion of the delivery of another S 24 X, Martin Lampart, as Sales Manager of SCHWING GmbH, has handed over a framed picture with historical and current motifs to Hendrik Huetter, who has been managing the company since 1998 in the fourth generation, to commemorate 50 years of partnership cooperation. The construction company founded in Dorsten/Germany in 1902 is today mainly active in multi-storey residential and industrial construction and can not complain about a lack of demand. This is also shown by the planned new construction of the administration building, which in the existing form no longer offers any space for new, urgently needed jobs. "When planning our new administration building, we paid special attention to creating a pleasant working environment," stresses Hendrik Huetter. Especially with regard to the skills shortage, it is important to strengthen its attractiveness as an employer. This claim is also reflected in the technical features of the new truck-mounted concrete pump S 24 X. The machine is equipped with a hydraulically rotatable charging box. The box can be lowered so far via the radio remote control that the hoses and delivery pipes contained therein can be removed safely and backwards by the machine operator. In the development of this novelty, Huetter was able to provide significant support to the pump manufacturer from Herne/Germany with its many years of practical experience.
