SCHWING-Stetter at bauma 2022 - a complete success

SCHWING-Stetter came up with no less than 12 innovations at this year's 33rd Bauma, the world's leading trade fair for construction, building materials and mining machinery as well as construction vehicles and equipment, and convinced interested parties and customers from all over the world of the quality and range of services offered by the company based in Herne and Memmingen.

In contrast to the decline in overall visitor numbers at this year's trade fair compared to 2019, Marketing Manager Jens Heinrich noted a particularly high influx of international guests to the 2,500 m² exhibition area and was particularly pleased that valuable discussions on machine technology and industry tests could be held everywhere, so that the expectations for SCHWING-Stetter were exceeded in a positive sense.

This was certainly also due to the four new machines that SCHWING-Stetter presented at the trade fair for the first time as prototypes: the truck mixer concrete pumps FBP 26 / 29 with a four-part boom, the truck mixer Ultra Eco II, with 9 m³ and 2.9 t the lightest known truck mixer in this class, as well as the truck-mounted concrete pumps S 51 SX and S 36 X RaZor, which attracted the visitors' attention with a five-part boom with RZ folding.

The modern systems for machine control (VECTOR II) and telematics (Basic & Enterprise), as well as the flexible support for truck-mounted concrete pumps (DynaRig) were demonstrated directly at the exhibits and the positive feedback shows that intelligent solutions for increasing productivity and machine availability will continue to be in the focus of customers in the future. The E-Drive truck mixer, which is prepared for the adaptation of battery-electric vehicles and is thus quickly ready for use, was also received with interest. The Eco-Power system for an electric drive of truck-mounted concrete pumps was perceived as a convincing solution for high-performance operation of existing and new truck-mounted concrete pumps. The retrofittability of existing machines and the availability of practical concrete delivery rates were particularly emphasised.

There is agreement that the industry is in a transfer phase here and that different technical solutions will prevail depending on the application profile and local boundary conditions.

The updated mixing plant M 3.0, as well as the stationary concrete pumps (SP 3800 E, TP 100 TC with dual-circuit hydraulics), the industrial pump TAP 90 and two further truck-mounted concrete pumps (S 43 SX, S 56 SXF) rounded off the established system house presence at BAUMA and the positive response from business partners is direct praise for the excellent quality of work guaranteed by the entire SCHWING-Stetter team at all locations and in all departments in their daily work. SCHWING-Stetter continues to be perceived as a progressive, customer-oriented and reliable premium partner of the international concrete and industrial sector and customers can trust in SCHWING-Stetter products and the people behind them.
