Your responsibilities in the design and development of our sludge pump systems product area will focus on the design, new and further development of hydraulic power units.

In the context of plant engineering projects, you will advise and support sales and technical project management right from the quotation phase with regard to the required units and implement the performance requirements of our customers. Plant engineering is characterized by a high variance of the required solutions. At present, the drive powers range from 5.5 KW to 1,600 KW (2 x 800) with tank sizes from 100 to 8,000 litres. Ideally, you should continue our approach of using a modular system and optimise our solution from a technical and economic point of view. You will prepare the technical documents and documentations and assist the employees in production and commissioning with words and deeds. Further interfaces exist to the designers of the pump units and the control cabinets. In this demanding field you will be supported by at least one technician, who is subordinate to you.

The technical requirements of the described task areas include:

  • a successfully completed course of study at a university or technical college in general mechanical engineering (ideally with a focus on design engineering)
  • at least three years' professional experience in the design and development of hydraulic power units
  • comprehensive 3D CAD knowledge (ideally Solid Edge) as well as good MS Office skills
  • very good knowledge of written and spoken English
